Bone Broth Fudgesicles: a Delicious, Gut and Hormone Friendly Summer Treat

If you've been following my work for any amount of time, you know I love incorporating healing and nourishing foods into new and delicious recipes!

So many of my readers and followers LOVE my Bone Broth Hot Chocolate recipe, so I knew I had to come up with an equally delicious Summer treat, so here it is!


For the bone broth, yoou will want to use a mildly flavoured one that hasn't been made with a lot of savoury ingredients like onions and garlic. See my Bone Broth Hot Chocolate post for how I make it and suggestions for buying broth for these recipes.


I found some beautiful stainless steel popsicle molds and ditched the plastic ones that we had for years (no more endocrine disrupting popsicles here!).


You could really use any milk that you prefer for these, but the full fat coconut adds a really nice richness to them. As for the gelatin, it adds a bit of thickness to the batter, as well as gut healing amino acids, but you can use arrowroot or tapioca starch if you prefer.


Bone Broth Fudgesicles


1 1/3 Cup full fat coconut milk

1/3 Cup mild flavoured beef bone broth

1/4 Cup organic cacao powder

2-3 Tbsp raw honey (or to taste)

1 tsp grass fed bovine gelatin, or arrowroot powder

1/4 tsp vanilla powder, or 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

pinch of sea salt


Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze. Run your popsicle molds under cold water for a few seconds to help the popsicle slide out easily.
