I’ve been loving all things apple right now, and when I made this loaf over the weekend I got so many requests for the recipe that I knew I had to share it here! It’s soft, nourishing, and full of cozy fall flavour.

This apple loaf is more than just a treat—it’s also a hormone-friendly snack. Apples are rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients that support liver health (your body’s main pathway for processing and balancing hormones). They’re also a great source of soluble fibre, which helps keep blood sugar steady and supports healthy digestion—two essentials for hormone balance at any stage of life.

Made with whole food ingredients, naturally sweetened, and both gluten- and grain-free, this loaf is a feel-good recipe you can enjoy anytime. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Ingredients:

  • 5 large eggs

  • 1 cup apple sauce

  • 1 apple, diced

  • ½ cup coconut flour

  • 1 TBSP cinnamon

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ cup coconut oil (melted, or unsalted butter)

  • 3 TBSP honey (or maple syrup)

  • 1-2 TBSP milk (dairy or non-dairy if batter feels too thick)

  • ½ tsp ground ginger optional

  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg optional

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper ( I like If You Care brand because it has no chlorine or bleach that can end up in your food).

Add all ingredients, except chopped apple to a food processor. Process until just mixed. Fold in the chopped apple and pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 30 minutes, then check for doneness. A knife should come out clean when inserted into the centre of the loaf. It might take longer, depending on your oven.

After the loaf cools, store in the refrigerator.
