Lightening up the toxic load on our bodies can seem overwhelming to say the least! With constant exposure to chemicals that disrupt our hormones and gut microbiome, this might seem like an impossible task to many!
Impossible though it may seem, when we are tying to reach a state of optimal health, it is crucial to clean up many of the threats that we are surrounded by on a day to day basis. Many of these synthetics can prevent our bodies from producing and using hormones optimally. They also deplete us of many of the nutrients that our bodies need for to function by using these nutrients in excessive levels to detoxify constant exposure. Our digestive systems are not spared either! Chemicals like chlorine, even when inhaled, can disrupt bacterial balance by killing beneficial bacteria.
There are many simple ways that we can reduce our toxin exposure every day, and this is something that I love to coach my clients on, along with nutrition! Many of these actions are free, affordable, and can even save us money!
