Adrenal Support Brownies

Chocolate brownies for adrenal support!?!


Adaptogens like ashwaganda and reishi can give us a little extra support when we are under more stress and pressure. While these aren’t a substitute for proper nutrition and a balanced lifestyle, they can help give us a healthy boost! What better way to incorporate two of my favourites than these delicious adrenal health brownies! They also contain raw cacao, which provides plenty of relaxing magnesium!






Base layer

1 1/2 cups pitted soft medjool dates

1/3 cup nut or seed butter of choice ( cashew, almond,or tahini are great)

1/4 cup cacao powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ashwaganda powder

1 1/2 tsp mushroom blend powder ( I used @harmonic_arts 5 mushroom blend)

1/4 tsp sea salt


Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until it makes a smooth dough, adding a teaspoon of water at a time, if necessary. Press into a parchment lined loaf pan and set in the freezer while you make the topping.
